Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell has been a chef and television personality in the United States and a teacher at Institute of Culinary Education. Burrell hosts Food Network's Secrets of a Restaurant Chef as well as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell, a Food Network presenter with her distinctive spikey blonde hair and pumped up personality reveals easy to learn techniques and eliminates anxiety about restaurant food in her series Secrets of a Restaurant. The chef Burrell is also an experienced chef of New York City's best restaurants. Additionally, she has explored Italy's cuisine and the culture of Italy, and the surrounding landscape. When she was a kid in Upstate New York Chef Burrell was attracted by the food. The Culinary Institute of America was the next step after she graduated with an Associate of Arts degree in English and Communications from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America was an amazing experience for me. It was hard to study and do enough or put in the hours. Following graduation, Chef Burrell went on to spend one time in Italy attending Italy's Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners as well as working for La Taverna del Lupo in Umbria as well as La Bottega del 30 a one-Michelin star restaurant in Tuscany. During her time in Italy she grew to truly appreciate and understand the philosophy of Italian culinary and cultural traditions that left a lasting impact in her perspective. Burrell is a celebrity ambassador for the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She is a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board, which helps children with obstacles. As a speaker, she is on the road to talk about her love of cuisine and to promote her professional career as a chef. Through her culinary adventures, Anne often says that she feels so lucky to be able to share my passion in life with others.
