Denise Lee Richards Bio

Denise Lee Richards, born on 17 February 1971 is a former fashion model and actress from the US. She is 5' 5 1/4 inches (1,66m) tall. She achieved success during the late 1990s in several films that highlighted her sexual appeal, including Starship Troopers, Wild Things and The World Is Not Enough. She appears in the reality TV show, Denise Richards: It's Complicated which is broadcast on the American channel E!. Richards was the daughter of Joni Richards who is proprietor of a cafe, as well as Irv Richards (a phone engineer). She has one sibling, Michelle, and grew up in Mokena as well as Downers Grove, Illinois. She graduated in 1989 from El Camino High School in Oceanside, California. Richards was the "only girl" on the baseball team when she was a kid. Before she became an actress, Richards was signed by the Judith Fontaine Modeling & Talent Agency as a model. Most of her time in the 1990s was spent in low-budget TV and film shows like Saved by the Bell. She also guest starred in several episodes of television shows, including Married with Children (1991) with a five second walkthrough. Starship Troopers was her first major role in wide theatrical films. Wild Things was her second role.
