Genesis Rodriguez

Genesis Rodriguez was born in Miami. She is the daughter Jose Luis "El Puma" Rodriguez who is a renowned Venezuelan actor and singer, and Carolina Perez (a Cuban model). She is half-sister to two other women. She was a student at the Carrolton School of the Sacred Heart, Miami. Rodriguez realized as a child she wanted to be an actor. She attended summer classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and continued to train in acting. She was successful and won roles in Spanish language series such as Prisionera (2004), Dame Chocolate (2007) and Dona Barbara (2008). Also, she was a part of the hit show "Entourage" (2004). Man on a Ledge (2012), and What to Expect When You're Expecting (2012) are a couple of her film projects. The daughter of Jose Luis 'El Puma' Rodriguez. Half-sister to Liliana Rodriguez and Lilibeth Morillo. She revealed on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, 9 January episode, that she was named Genesis following the British rock group Genesis. She is is Cuban and Venezuelan family. The best thing is living in the ocean. If this acting thing fails I'd simply submit my resume on NBA.com. I'm a huge basketball fan. . . I'll talk about all kinds of garbage. I believe I represent an emerging generation of Latinos, bicultural and bilingual. It's evident that I'm not able to take what I want for food or style my appearance as I wish. It's a matter of working hard for it. My parents and Pilates are the main reason why I am able to pursue what I enjoy. It's among the best bonding experiences you are able to have. I love people who will risk it. The ones who risk their lives on the carpet are my favourite. Charlize Thon is my top choice. She's stylish and sophisticated, I think. I love Zoe Saldana.
