Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American actor and producer. Her feature
film debut came in 1995's drama series, the independent Kids. She has since
starred in films like He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (1901),
Men in Black II (2006), Death Proof (2008), Seven Pounds (2008) and Percy
Jackson and the Olympians (2010). Dawson has voiced characters for Warner
Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. She has also been nominated
for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress in a Comedy for Top Five
(2014), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014), and Zombieland Double Tap (2019).
Dawson was born May 9, 1979, in New York City. Isabel Celeste is her mother and
she is of Afro-Cuban ancestry. Rosario was 16 when she gave birth to her birth.
Isabel never married Patrick C. Harris, her father in law. Rosario was a
teenager when her mother married Greg Dawson (a construction worker). Dawson is
four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson’s half-brother. Dawson is also
famous for her role in comic book adaptations. They include Gail Sin City
(2005), Sin City (2005), Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple
(2015-2018) and Diana Prince/Wonder Woman on the DC Animated Movie Universe.
She also voiced Barbara Gordon/Batgirl as The Lego Batman Movie. In 2020, she
voiced Ahsoka Tano in the second season of The Mandalorian, and is expected to
be a part of the upcoming Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She also has a
recurring part in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock
in 2021.
