Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi on August 14, 1983. Kunis, then seven years old, immigrated to America along with her parents Elvira und Mark Kunis. Then she moved to Los Angeles. The Kunis family was not able to make it in America, despite having a modest $250. Kunis parents had both left their jobs to make it easier for their children. Mark was a former engineer who worked in mechanical engineering swiftly was able to find work as a taxi driver. Elvira, an entomologist from Ukraine, ended up running an entomology clinic. Kunis said that he did not completely comprehend American cultural norms when he first came to America. "I didn't know the people. I did not understand the language. The first line of my essay for college admission was "Imagine being blind and deaf at age 7". It was a very difficult experience when I moved into the States. But I got over it fairly quickly." Milena Markovna Kunis is the child of Mark Kunis in Chernivtsi (Ukraine) and Elvira. Her elder brother is also hers. Her mother is a pharmacist as well as a physics teacher. Her father is a mechanical engineering by profession. He doubles up as a driver of taxis. The family relocated to Los Angeles in seven years. Rosewood Elementary School was her primary school. At nine years old, she started taking acting lessons. After auditioning for commercials and being cast in her first TV role, in the show 'Daily Days of Our Lives', 1994. In 1998 she was given the role of Jackie Burkhart in the hit sitcom "That '70s Show". She received rave reviews for her performance and she was then requested to voice to the character on "Family Guy" in the role of Meg Griffin.
