Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos, a Canadian actress. She was in the Teletoon children’s comedy series Majority Rules as Becky Richards. From 2009 until 2010. From 2009 to 2010, she was a star in the role of Charlotte Matheson (Charlie) in the NBC series Revolution in the post-apocalyptic sci-fi series. The show was nominated for the Saturn Award as Best Actress on Television. Annika Johnson was her role on the A&E television show Bates Motel. Spiridakos has appeared on the NBC drama Chicago P.D. since 2017. Spiridakos portrays the role of Detective Hailey Upton. Spiridakos was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba by George Spiridakos and Anastasia Spiridakos, Greek-born restaurant owners. Spiridakos has two brothers. The family moved to Skala in Greece located south of Sparta just after her birth. In 1992, they returned to Canada. She is very attached to her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos started acting at the age of junior high school. She later studied at the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated from Oak Park High School in Winnipeg. Spiridakos left Winnipeg in 2007. She was able to get her first TV appearance on Supernatural within a matter of weeks. She continued to do television work as a walk-on in Bionic Woman's The L Word, Hellcats, Psych and other shows. Spiridakos appeared in the TV movie Goblin and also in the web-based series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. Spiridakos also appeared on Being Human as the werewolf Brynn McCLean. In 2009 she was cast as her first lead role as Becky Richards, a 15-year-old girl in Canadian Teletoon's Majority Rules! Her feature film debut was in 2011 with Rise of the Planet of the Apes. In Kill for Me, she played alongside Katie Cassidy and Donal Logue. Spiridakos played Sammi in the 2012 Nickelodeon original movie, Rags. Spiridakos then was offered the leading role in Revolution in the role of Charlotte Matheson (survivor in a dystopian society) and telecast on NBC television. The role was offered to her during her first pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos produced her pilot in Atlanta. The first season was shot in Wilmington, North Carolina. She was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for her role in the pilot season however she was defeated by Anna Torv from Fringe's. Production moved to Austin, Texas for the second season of the show.
