American actress Elizabeth Leigh Vassey was born on the 9th of August in 1972. Vassey was the teenager Emily Ann Sago on the soap show All My Children from 1988 to 1991. Vassey appeared as a regular actor on the TV show Tru Calling from 2004 to 2005, playing Dr. Carrie Allen. Vassey was Wendy Simms, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's recurring character from 2005 until 2010. Vassey was first seen in the opening credits for the show's Crime Scene Investigation as a regular cast member, and was elevated to a permanent position with the tenth season. Entertainment Weekly reported that Vassey was not returning for the 11th season. Vassey appeared in an episode in the season. Vassey is married to David Emmerichs (a camera operator), started Neurosis to a T(ee) which is a business which designs and sells t-shirts with female-specific slogans. The slogans are often funny and are a reference to female neuroses and worries.
