Charisma Carpenter

 Charisma Carpenter was born on July 23rd 70 years ago. Cordelia Chase was a character in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's fantasy drama series (1997-1999) as well as the spin-off series Angel (1999-04). She was also in Charmed (2004) as well as Kendall Casablanca's role in Veronica Mars (2006). Rebecca Sewell was in The Lying Game (2012)-2013. Lacy was part of The Expendables film franchise (2010)-2012. Carpenter was born in Las Vegas. Carpenter has Spanish, French, and German descent (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter attended Bishop Gorman High school in Las Vegas. She was involved in a dance and dance group that was a part of the Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter relocated with her family to Rosario Beach in Baja California, Mexico, at age 15 years old. She attended Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. Carpenter embarked on a journey to Europe after she graduated. After returning to San Diego, she worked as a video store clerk as well as an aerobics teacher as well as in property management. She cheered on the San Diego Chargers football club in 1991. The team moved to Los Angeles in 1992. In 1991, Henry Hubbard Jr. confronted her along with two of her male friends when they were swimming in San Diego. He was an ex- San Diego cop and serial rapist , who tried to intimidate them using a gun. During the struggle, both her friends and Hubbard were shot, causing Hubbard to flee the scene. Both were able to escape the assault. Hubbard was arrested after being found guilty and sentenced 56-years in prison for a number of sexual assaults. Carpenter used Hubbard's flashlight to the beach, that he had abandoned at the scene and the flashlight was one of the key pieces of evidence used against him.
