Kari Matchett Biography

Kari Matchett Kari Matchett, an Canadian actress, is known for her roles in movies like 'Apartment Hunting' 'Men with Brooms', and 'The Tree of Life'. She was born and was raised in Spalding Saskatchewan. After high school, she relocated to Alberta. Acting was something she discovered during her teens. To receive further training in acting, she enrolled at the  National Theatre School' in Montreal and then attended the 'Moscow Theatre School.' She made her television debut in 1996 as a support part in the Canadian series called 'The Rez.' In 1996, she played a supporting role in the Canadian series called 'The Rez.' In the late 1990s she made her film debut with the movie titled Papertrail'. She later appeared in films such as ‘Men with Brooms’ or 'Cypher. She also played a supporting role in shows such as 'A Nero Wolfe Mystery and 'Blue Murder. Even though she was still acting in films throughout the decade of 2000 and beyond, her appearances on screen were less than her television appearances. The actress also played the character in the role of Colleen Blessed in the 1998 Canadian drama series 'Power Play. The series received praise from critics and the public and ran for two seasons and 26 episodes. The actress was nominated for the 'Gemini Award for her performance in the series. Jude Lyon Matchett became her first child in June of 2013. However, she did not reveal the identity of her son's dad. According to some reports, her ex boyfriend is her father. Kari Matchett met T.W. Peacocke in the late 1990s, and they began to date; they got married in 1998. The couple divorced in 2006 following their marriage broke in the middle of the year.
